Target:
Algonquin Park Restoration
Region:
United States of America

Algonquin Park located in the Town of Newburgh is rich in early Amercan history. Originally a saw mill in 1790, by 1815 it was producing black powder for rifles.

The completed powder was delivered via horse and buggy to a large magazine at Sherman's Dock-now the Newburgh Yacht Club site where it was loaded onto sailing vessels to be distributed.

Algonquin Park in the Town of Newburgh needs your help. The buildings have fallen into disrepair due to neglect. There may be grant funds available for the restoration, but we need to show that the community is interested.

This park has been a place where families can take their children, have picnics, play ball, or play on the playground. It has beautiful trails with historic buildings, ponds and waterfalls.

We will lose the grandeur of this park if there is no action taken. There is no obligation that comes with your signature. It is simply to show your interest and support. So, please show your support!
