Background (Preamble):
I was recently informed that Catherine Tate the (alleged) comedienne will star in the 4th series of Doctor Who.
As I have already seen her in "the Runaway Bride" and I know how both disappointing that episode was and just how annoying that screechy, shouting moronic sounding women is I REALLY find it hard to believe that the Who team can't find a better actress to play the new assistant!

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call upon Russell T. Davies or in fact anyone with any power in the BBC to stop an absolute catastrophe and NOT hire Catherine Tate to be in the next (or any other) Doctor Who series and to cast another actor or actress to play The Doctors companion.
