Add Handicap Operated Automatic Door Installation & Additional Handicap Parking Spaces

This petition is regarding a request as a neighborhood community at the, "Stone Bridge at Raritan Luxury Rentals" to "Add Handicap Operated Automatic Door Installation & Additional Handicap Parking Spaces" to Building #1

The reason for this request is as follows:

There are several disabled, handicap, and edlery resisdents, living in "Building #1". By law in the "Guide to Handicap Parking" in the state of NJ states: Authorize municipalities to establish handicapped spaces in front of residences, schools, hospitals, public buildings, and in shopping and business districts (C.39:4-197.5).

The new additions will provide residents with safety, convenience, and assistance to all the disabled, handicap, and elderly residents. The new additions will also make it easier to enter and exit out of "Building #1" faster and efficiently with their canes, walkers, carts, wheelchairs, and other medical devices etc.. Extra handicap parking spaces will provide closer access to the sidewalks and ramps while entering in and out of the building. Overall these additions will provide the residents in need with a better quality of life.
