Only in England now do we pay prescription charges which must be subsidising the other parts of the UK who all pay nothing for medicines or prescriptions.
It is grossly unfair that the people in England are treated any different to other parts of the UK. It is divisive and promotes ill feelings between neighbours and countrymen.
We the undersigned call upon this Government to stop all prescription charges in the UK.
We also petition to be treated as equal citizens of the United Kingdom to receive all rights and benefits that are available within the United Kingdom provided we meet the criteria for those benefits.
We should not be restricted because of where we live.
