Fifth Street in Struthers Ohio is a very busy street with a speed limit of 25 mph, which numerous drivers do not follow.
There is a Circle K and Restaurant at the intersection of Fifth and Maplewood which can make traffic heavier than usaul at times.
We the residents of Struthers would like to see a 4-way stop placed at the intersection of Fifth and Maplewood.
This would slow down speeders and ensure the safety of our children. There are several children that walk, play and live near this intersection.
It would be a great tragedy if one these children our injured or even killed by one of the numerous drivers that do not abide by the 25 mph speed limit that is posted.
