Independent candidate for Port Darwin, Matthew Baker, has proposed 30 minute free CBD QuickParks be made available all day in Darwin's CBD to provide a practical timeframe for people to shop, visit cafes and do their business.
This measure will also support local small business and help keep our city vibrant.
Darwin City Council have advised the proposal will be considered in August, but is proposing free parking only after 3pm.
