The temporary road closure for construction on 16th Ave between 224th and 232nd starting September 25th 2006 for two weeks. Traffic will be detoured using 8th Ave and 24th Ave.
We the residents believe it will be extremely dangerous and cause great distress to the many residents with children, pets and horses, particularly along 8th Ave as this is a quiet country road.
There is an abundance of wild life such as a family of deer that live locally along 8th Ave. We are also concerned about the security of our property as we will become much more exposed to travelers along our roads.
We, the undersigned residents of 224th, 8th, and 232nd call on the Township of Langley to re route the traffic elsewhere away from our private country roads.
