درخواست مصاحبه مشاوران جنبش سبز در شبکه خبری ان.بی.سی

هم‌زمان با شصت و ششمین نشست مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد، محمود احمدی نژاد در گفت‌و‌گویی با شبکه خبری «ان.بی.سی نیوز» اعلام کرد که دو رهبر جنبش دموکراسی‌خواهی مردم ایران٬ مهدی کروبی و میرحسین موسوی٬ در آزادی کامل بوده و مشغول زندگی عادی خود هستند. با توجه به این مساله که رسالت یک رسانه٬ انعکاس درست اخبار و پوشش همه‌ جانبه یک اتفاق و نظرخواهی از همه طرف‌های درگیر در آن است٬ ما عده ای از فعالین سیاسی، مدنی و دانشجویی و روزنامه نگاران ایرانی٬ با توجه به کذب بودن این خبر٬ از مسوولین این شبکه درخواست می‌کنیم که برای انعکاس صحیح و دقیق آن‌چه که بر آنان می‌رود٬ به گفت‌وگو با مشاوران آن‌ها٬ مجتبی واحدی و اردشیر امیرارجمند بپردازد. این مشاوران٬ افراد شناخته شده و مورد تایید دو رهبر جنبش سبز مردم ایران هستند و با توجه به حضورشان در خارج از کشور٬ قادر به افشای آن‌چه که در این مدت بر مهدی کروبی و میرحسین موسوی رفته است. این مساله از آن جهت اهمیت دارد که خبرنگاران رسانه‌های بین‌المللی در ایران اساسن امکان فعالیت آزادانه ندارند و روزنامه‌نگاران ایرانی نیز با توجه به وجود جو فشار و ارعاب و سانسور٬ قادر نیستند به انعکاس صحیح اخبار پیرامون این دو تن بپردازند. مصاحبه با این دو مشاور می‌تواند روایت‌گر فضای ایران برای مخاطبینی باشد که سخنان احمدی نژاد را شنیده اند و حکایت امروز ایران را تنها با یک مصاحبه٬ به قضاوت خواهند نشست. به باور ما صداقت شما در برابر مخاطبان٬ سرمایه واقعی شبکه شماست. امیدواریم که با انعکاس همه‌جانبه اتفاقات پیرامون جنبش سبز ایران٬ این سرمایه اجتماعی را حفظ کنید

The Authorities of NBC News Agency

In accordance to the Sixty-Sixth United Nation General Assembly Mahmud Ahmadinejad despicably claimed in an interview with NBC News that the two prominent opposition leaders of Iran Mr. Mehdi Karoubi and Mr. Mir hossein Mousavi who competed with Mr. Ahmadinejad in the 2008 disputed elections and whom were secretly arrested and very little is known about their whereabouts, are, according to him, completely free and living in luxury and comfort.

Since the aim of any news agency is the clear reflection of the truth taking both sides of the arguments without any political biased views, we, who are a number of free political civil rights activists comprising of students and journalists, would like to express our most sincere sense of discontent towards the views of Mr. Ahmadinejad who has surpassed all possible forms of honesty and integrity in his diplomacy.

Furthermore, we would like to request the authorizes at NBC News to be fair and balanced and propose the same questions to the likes of Mr. Mojtaba Vahedi, Senior Advisor to Mr. Karroubi and Mr. Ardeshir Arjmand, Main Foreign Spokesman of Mr. Mousavi whom both reside in the west and are quite accessible to foreign media yet they have not been contacted with regard to such sensitive issue.

In a nutshell, our one and only concern is that the international media needs to know what is happening to these two brave men and should not be fooled by the absolute dishonest utterance of a man who has rigged the elections and has constantly behaved mischievous regarding human rights in Iran and his administration’s dubious dishonesty regarding the nuclear issue has been more than apparent to the international community.

The international community has the right to hear both sides of the argument and NBC News agency as a fair and balanced correspondence must allow such transparency so that other networks would learn and put an end to Ahmadinejad’s mischief is distorting the news. The people have the right to know the real situation in Iran and NBC must reflect what is truly happening in the country by asking the right questions from the right people.

The Iranian regime has not allowed any foreign media to have any sort of coverage regarding the post election events in the country. The Iranian journalists themselves have also been prosecuted and cracked down upon by the regime. In such a corrupted atmosphere we do need the aid of the foreign media to reflect the truth regarding the green movement and keeping this social phenomenon alive.
