Background (Preamble):
Aberdeenshire Councillors have approved plans to slash the number of learning support staff in schools. They have not consulted with parents on the effect that this massive reduction will have on their children's education.
These plans will mean that children with disabilities and other additional needs will not get the support they need in the classroom, and that all pupils will suffer as a result.

We the undersigned, call on Aberdeenshire Councillors to rethink the decision to slash learning support in education and fully consult with parents on the effect this will have on their children.
