The upcoming Mortal Kombat video game, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, has been refused classification in Australia, much to the anger of many fans who have grown up playing the Mortal Kombat series. Our goal is simple: we want this overturned.

We, the undersigned, call on the Australian Classification Board to overturn the RC rating/ban on Mortal Kombat. It is because Australia's classification system is outdated, that adults cannot enjoy this game, simply because of the graphic content deemed unsuitable for minors.

The average gamer is not a minor, and we should be able to decide what we think is appropriate for ourselves, or for our children (if applicable), and believe that Mortal Kombat should not be banned from sale in Australia.

We would like to see the game allowed for sale under the existing MA15+ rating, or a new R18+ rating, but either way, as long as the game is not edited in any way.
