Petition Background (Preamble):
This is a petition is to help change the 2001 Legislation in Australia and to provide Kiwi's holding SCV Visas with Government assistance in times of urgent need. For example: Illness, Crisis, Natural Disasters.
This legislation is a major discrimination for Kiwi's who work, pay taxes and contribute to the economy here but get no GOVT assistance regarding the above issues.
We are not looking for hand outs just what is right. Also for kiwi's who need study assistance ie (uni) for long term Kiwi Expats in Australia.

We, the undersigned, want the 2001 Legislation changed in Australia for All Kiwi's here who need Govt. assistance for Disaster/crises and in times of illness in Australia.
