Abuse of animals in itself is cruel what's even worse, being secluded and illegalized which only opens the door to animal abuse and unlawful behavior.
Pitbulls are perhaps the most misunderstood breed of all large dog breeds and are now having their rights to living a happy respectable life filled with love and joy taken away city by city and here in Miami Dade County. Making them illegal is telling people to be afraid of them and that they are bad dogs.
There is no such thing as a bad dog, but instead a bad owner. Education on these dogs needs to occur and action against animal abusers needs to take place. Instead of throwing out an amazing breed lets throw in our love and support.
