Surrey County Council is considering the introduction of on-street parking charges in certain areas throughout the County.
This is a revenue creation exercise that will have a negative effect on the hard-pressed businesses in Horley's town centre and the Station Road area. Horley already has 3 town centre car parks.
If the County Council is serious about the regeneration of Horley's Town Centre it will withdraw these proposals.
We, the undersigned, call on Surrey County Council to withdraw its proposals to introduce on-street parking charges in Horley Town Centre.
