Review "Inordinate Delay" in case: Antyane Robinson

We the under signed are writing to you to bring to your attention the denial of justice in the case of ROBINSON VS. BEARD, CV-05-1603.

Antyane's case has been before your honor since April 17, 2006 awaiting adjudication. Antyane has written to this court on two separate occasions asking your honor to make a ruling in his case. Antyane has been unjustly sentenced to death and confined on death row since 1997, subject to the harsh conditions and severe limitations consistant with that level of incarceration. The Governor(s) of Pennsylvania have signed Antyane's death warrant on three separate occasions in attempts to have him executed! Antyane's trial was fundementally unfair. He was forced to represent himself during critical parts of trial; his trial counsel was not qualified to handle a capital trial and was ineffective for failing to investigate; develop a meaningful defense; present a defense on Antyane's behalf; and object to the prosecutor's continuous misconduct throughout the trial.

Furthermore, Antyane's trial counsel conceded his guilt without his knowledge or consent all but guaranteeing a conviction and sentence to death. This is outrageous. But even more outrageous is the fact that the two aggravating circumstances put forth by the prosecutor in seeking the death penalty in Antyane's case did not apply AS A MATTER OF LAW!
