Urban Dead is a free-to-play browser-based multi-player game where you play the survivor or victim of a zombie outbreak in a quarantined city centre, alongside tens of thousands of others. A mechanic of the game is that while playing a zombie character, one may "speak" only through a limited form of speech.

Since 2005, players of Urban Dead have developed a unique zombie language, called Zamgrh, using this form of speech. Example words from this language may be found The Urban Dead Zamgrh Dictionary

On October 22, 2010 it was discovered by one of Urban Dead's players that Sears, Roebuck and Co. used a strikingly similar language prominently on its website http://sears.com/Zombies. While the Sears website calls their language Zombian, it is the belief of the Urban Dead community that Zamgrh was used for the creation of the website. Many of the words used on the Sears website can be found in the Zamgrh dictionary.

Sears, Roebuck and Co. do not cite any source for the Zombian language on their website. It is the desire of the Urban Dead community that Sears provide journalistic attribution for the language used.

We the undersigned, seek journalistic attribution by Sears, Roebuck and Co. for the use of the Zamgrh language on the website http://www.sears.com/zombies

The Attribution of the Urban Dead community for the use of zombie language on Sears.com petition to Sears, Roebuck and Co. was written by Stewart and is in the category Gaming at GoPetition.
