SHS Drumline

Trevor Santora has been a drum tech at SHS for 3 years. We believe that his dedication to the students is exemplary. Although he is a paid employee, he receives $1000 a season which he splits with another drum tech, it does not cover all he does. Trevor drives from Salisbury at least 4 days a week to tech OUR children. He spends numerous hours driving and preparing music. He attends all games and competitions with OUR children. He has encouraged OUR children to use their skills outside SHS.

Some students participated as members of various DCA drum corps this past year; they have marched with the Tournament of Bands All-Star Parade in Philadelphia, and marched indoor percussion out of Baltimore. Trevor not only encourages music in their lives he has assisted them in getting to and from these practices and shows; he travels well beyond what his need too. He has purchased food for OUR children and equipment for band with his own money.

We further believe that he was unjustly fired from the above position based on one complaint. We, the parents of SHS Regiment of Red and your community also have comments of praise which out way that one complaint. We believe everyone should have had the ability to state their case.
