Bring back the Lead Pair; Stop Abrupt end to tracks

This petition is to
- spotlight the serious bloopers and abrupt end of tracks and scenes that are potentially harming an unconventional and one of the most sorted out show - Laagi Tujhse Lagan;
- revive the original essence of the show.

In the last one month, we have noticed a steep drop in TRPs which has been directly proportional to the discontentment in the viewers of Laagi Tujhse Lagan. This petition is to highlight our concerns and bring back the lost flavour.

1. Abrupt and Illogical end to tracks:
Half baked tracks are never in the best interest of the soap or its viewers. This leaves a sense of longing inside the viewer that only tranforms into discontentment. We would like to highlight some serious unfinished and unexplained tracks, that have left viewers extremely dejected-

a. Delay in Naku's Face revelation -
During the Dabaang Cameo in LTL, viewers expectations were raised with regards to Nakusha's face revelation. The track was brought to a high point and without any reason, was dropped abruptly. The viewers are still trying to get over the sudden drop in their expectations. The track was left illogically and half way through. As the days are passing, the halfbaked track is creating uneasiness inside the viewer and raising their fury. This track needs a logical closure.

b. Lead Pair Love Story and Screen Space:
Post-Anna's track, a beautiful journey of Dutta-Naku's relationship had begun and the viewers were taken on this journey along with the lead pair. Viewers had just taken a deep dive in the opening intensity of their love and experiencing it, when Dutta-Nakusha's love story just vanished into thin air. A logical flow in which Dutta and Naku were exploring their relationship, was abruptly brought to a stop. The unexplored relationship and the dearth of Dutta-Naku's scene has been felt by the viewers strongly and the pinch is visible in the dropping TRPs. ( 6.5 in September 2010 to a sharp dip to 2.4 in October 2010).

2. Inexcusable Bloopers
We understand that bloopers are part and parcel of the show but some serious bloopers are inexcusable. The viewers of today have sharper memory than of yesteryears. They don't forget easily and when it's the question of a soap, close to their heart, they hold on to every scene, dialogue and storyline, close to their chest. Having said that, it would be very disappointing for them if their memory is gauged by serious bloopers, such as the one recently introduced - Aayi Saheb scared that Dutta would realize she is not his mom, if Damodar comes in front of Dutta.
Please note that the viewers have always been under the impression that Dutta knew Aayi Saheb was not his real mom. We would like to bring to your notice the 1st February episode, where Aayi Saheb explicitly states in front of everyone (including Dutta) that she cannot believe that Dutta is not her own son.

We seriously hope that there is a very good explanation for this blooper and in future episodes, this would be dealt with, so that the viewer doesnt feel his intelligence challenged.

3. Poor Editing
LTL viewers have been very loyal to LTL for the perfection that they have noticed from Day 1 but we, now feel things are changing. A careless editing was one such example. In the 16th September episode, a scene had been edited out, where Dutta sits beside Naku on the swing and watches her eat her food. This scene was part of the promo but was edited out of the actual episode. We are sure that the Editors are well aware that Dutta-Nakusha are the USP of the show. Everyday when viewers switch on their TV at 8:30pm, their hopes are pinned on the exhilarating experience of the Dutta and Nakusha's interaction. At the end of the episode, their smile or disappointment is totally determined by the number of Dutta-Nakusha's scenes and the duration of them all. First, their expectations are raised with the promo and then abruptly, they are trashed by reducing the screen time of Dutta-Nakusha's scene. This was totally unacceptable. We hope to see the perfection back in the editing and the increase in duration and quantity of the Lead-Pair interaction.

We hope our feedback would be taken constructively and a serious eye would be lend to it. We live the characters day in, day out and would like to continue living so. We don't want to loose on our exhilarated experience of our favourite show or see the TRPs dipping. The cinematic experience of LTL viewers have been top notch uptill now and we would like to continue with the same. The introduction of veteran actors such as, Tinu Anand and the indepth exploration of underutilized charactes, such as, Roops (Neetu Wadhwa) and Sudarshan have been very well appreciated by the viewers. We really appreciate the sensitivity with which these characters were potrayed without making the tracks inexplicable. Thanks a ton to COLORS and Playtime Productions for coming up with such a splendid offbeat soap.
