In 1981 a record was set by Robert C. Jezequel who climbed up the CN Tower 17 times in 11 hours and 17 minutes. Each time he descended by lift.

This record was rested (Discontinued) in the late 1980's. However it appears in the GWR book in 1991.

The Guinness Book of World Records claims that endurance stair climbing can be done anywhere, in any type of building and therefore have discontinued this record.

The CN Tower is a marvellous structure! One of the seven wonders of the world! It does not make sense for this record to be discontinued due to the fact that this record took place in one of the most celebrated and recognized buildings in the world!

Furthermore the record was published in The Guinness Book of World Records in 1991, and therefore proofing that there is another reason why Guinness Book of World Records will not grant anyone access to this record.

We, the undersigned, call on the Guinness Book of World Records to re-instate the 1981 endurance stair climbing record set by Robert C. Jezequel, so that all who would like to attempt this record can!
