An application has been received for 350 homes to the North of the Rhoose Point Development. The Rhoose Point Development has still some 6 years after the last brick was laid not been adopted by the council or Welsh Water, along with that countless other provisions of the development were never met, land for retail, pub, nature reserve, golf course, etc etc.
Rhoose as a village cannot cope with another 350 homes, the infrastructure into and out of Rhoose is already at breaking point at rush hour.
No further housing should be considered until Rhoose Point has been finally adopted and original planning consent has been met. Also Infrastructure has to be looked at, the new planning application makes no allowances for the additional traffic.
We the undersigned call on the Vale of Glamorgan council not to allow further housing at the land North of Rhoose Point.
