Most residents of Copper Cove do not know that 24 hr access to the Kiva launch ramp has always been available. It was called "Fishing Access"
In the HOA rules, it states that the Kiva closes at 9pm, however, it says nothing about the launch ramp and lake access closing. HOA members could always request "Fishing Access" which in the past this has been provided using a code for the pad lock and most recently a specially programmed remote to open the Kiva gate 24hrs. Now the new HOA board has decided to remove or take away the 24hr access period.
Removing 24hr gate access denies people access to their homes threw the kiva as well as limiting their use of the lake. We are requesting that the HOA board restore access so that HOA members can use the Kiva as it was intended.
