We must send a strong message to the Sierra College Board of Trustees & the Administration that closing the Agriculture, Auto & Construction Career Technical Education programs is an absolutely UNACCEPTABLE solution to their $10 million dollar budget deficit.
Budget cuts are certainly a well-known reality nowadays, but closing the doors on job training opportunities is foolish in this current economy!
There must be a way to keep those programs alive, the board must work harder for a better solution!
We, the undersigned, call on the Sierra College Board of Trustees and the Sierra College Administration to STOP the elimination of the Agriculture, Auto & Construction Career Technical Education Programs as a solution to the budget crisis.
