This petition is to stop the proposed speed limit INCREASE on Hillside Blvd., South San Francisco, Ca. This is a residential street currently incorrectly zoned as "Unincorporated" and already has a speed limit of 40 mph that the County wants to Increase to 45 mph. There are 4 schools in the immediate location including El Camino High School, Parkway Middle School, Mills Montessori School and Hillside Christian Academy. There are to many accidents (most hit-and-run) and automobiles traveling to fast that has made this street unsafe, especially for the kids coming to and from the four schools in the neighborhood.

This petition asks not only that the County does NOT Increase the speed limit, but that it Decrease the speed limit to 25 mph and re-zone the street from "Unincorporated" to "Residential". This petition is originated by Residents Donna Barry and Stephanie Barry of South San Francisco.
