The youths of Stubley have no where to go, where they can chill out and learn new skills and interact with the community, as well as keep themselves occupied by socializing and doing recreational things.
Instead they are loitering on the streets, getting drunk and messing about, causing damage to properties and others. This has led to anti social behavior problems and even some youths getting themselves ASBO’S.
"We, the undersigned, call on the Kirklees Council to create / built the residents of Stubley Estate, a place were Youths and The Residents of Stubley Estate can communicate, socialize, learn new skills and interact with each other i.e. Youth Club, Community Centre."
