Background (Preamble):
My name is TombStone. I am a local lyricist in Wichita, Kansas. It has recently come to my attention that USD 259 is in violation of the First Ammendment. I came across some textbooks that contain a whole section on Christianity, covering the Ten Commandments (in detail), Jesus and his teachings, and even refers to Jesus as the "Son of God." It goes into specific details about the Bible, quoting the Old Testament, and the New Testament. I looked through this whole section, and other religions (only a few) are covered in only two pages.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, request that USD 259 of Wichita, Kansas, remove this text from their curriculum, as it is in violation of the First Ammendment.
