Background (Preamble):
As of May 15, 2009 USW Local 8918 in Cambridge Ontario, Canada has been in a labor dispute with Gerdau Ameristeel over their concessionary demands.
We in the USW 8918 are standing up for our jobs, our pension and our wages. Gerdau Ameristeel has since walked away from the table and ceased all negotiations with the union.

We ask that Gerdau Ameristeel come back to the negotiation table and start bargaining for a fair and reasonable contract for all parties involved.
