Background (Preamble):
This government granted the 27th of June to be Veterans Day. This covered all those who have served their country Both armed or Civilian.
For some unknown reason the M.O.D.have changed this day now to be called ARMED FORCES DAY.
This now cuts out all the British Merchant Seamen once again. Also all the Nurses. Policemen. Firemen ARP who also gave their lives serving their country. but as Civilians. Not ARMED FORCES.

Please help The Civilian veterans to get June 27th
back as "Veterans Day".
This covers ALL Veterans both Armed & Civilian. Sure Lets have an Armed forces day I will support that all the way The Lads and lasses deserve it.
If we were in the USA we would not only have all these day's but would have a day's holiday as well.
