Help End Sites that End Lives

Recently I "stumbled" upon an article with references to the popular Pro-suicide (and practically suicide assisting) website called Alt.Suicide.Holiday. The contents actually made me feel sick to the stomach. The fact that people could access this website, and find all these tips on how to kill themselves, and find partners to undergo the procedure with, is beyond worrying.

It mention a young girl who'd downloaded instructions on how to gas herself, and had used this obviously, as means of suicide. She was dead hours later. I find this disgusting, and I'm certain her family were devastated. They are now going to have to live with the fact that their loved one died due to a website, this could have easily been prevented. She could have got help, she could have been saved, she, amongst many others, could be alive and happy. They are not terminally ill people. They are not paralysed. They are not In REAL pain. How could they possibly imagine the happiest moment in their lives, and know, that they couldn't reach that point again? they couldn't. they don't know that. NO-ONE knows that.

Bringing me to my point, I recently had to read a speech on something i feel very strongly about. My speech was euthanasia, and how it should be made legal, because those poor paralysed people, clinging on to the last strand of life, unable to talk to anyone, or move, or do anything for themselves, they should be granted a way out. But the thing is, these sites, these people who share advice on suicide, who assist the deaths of others, they made a mockery of everything i said up there. Everything I stand for.

How could anyone want to partake in the ending of another persons life? I'm not the only person it's made a mockery of. Think of all those poor innocent people, in concentration and death camps, who TRUELY suffered, and were gassed.

Well now any naive little kid can go online, and receive information on how to do this to themselves by choice. Is that not wrong? Is that not laughing in the face of everything we as people stand against? of everything we fight for. Under legal/disclaimer these websites state that your site is purely for amusement, but if i was a suicidal person, all i have to do is type in google "suicide tips" and the websites come up. Then I'm provided with a list of ways to go, and how painful they are, and there we go. I'm out, I'm Dead. Is That Amusing? Does that provide ANYONE amusement?

I've emailed several owners of these sites, letting them know of the seriousness of the websites that they have set up, and many others that have been set up. Because it really does assist suicide.

So I ask them, please, delete this page. Because If they don't I Will find some one who will, I will take this further because i really, truely care. I hope you care too. Because we can put a stop to this. We can end it all, and save lives. But we'll have to work together. So please, fight with me.
