An over site board is necessary for the proper running and management of Tuscola County Mosquito Abatement. The current director, Jenifer Robb, has on many occasions misrepresented facts to the commissioners and the public, threatened termination of employees, and taken on an "oh well" attitude in regards to the concerns and requests of the tax paying public.
Furthermore Mosquito Abatement is the only special millage in the county that does not have a board of overseers in place to determine whether or not funds are being spent properly, procedures are carried out in the safest manner possible, employees and residents are treated with proper respect and care and the tax paying public is given the services they have continued to support for for the past 12 years.
We, the undersigned residents of Tuscola County, call to the Tuscola County board of commissioners to put in place a board of directors made up of no less than 5 Tuscola County residents, to supervise and make determinations on the operations, public relations, fiscal management, and all other related issues for Tuscola County Mosquito Abatement.
