Opposition to federal mandate giving " non-profit" agencie's power to ignore local zoning regulations.
By opening group housing facilities in area zoned for single family home as current federal mandate allows.
We the taxpayers seek avenue of redress and compensation for lost resale value of area propertie's.
Further we seek the right of notification befor any group facility is sited in any residential zone.
We the tax payers seek, protection of both our rights as represented by published zoning code, and compensation for financial risk that such a facility would pose to resale value of homes in area of said facilitie's.
We the undersigned petition the town of Trumbull and the State of Connecticut to stand with us the taxpayers and homeowners of Trumbull in opposition to the Kennedy Center facility will be operating at 579 Edison rd. Trumbull CT. On the following grounds:
(1) The Kennedy Centers use of said property is in conflict on published zoning code. (residential zone A).
(2) Such a facility compromise's the position of it's neighboring homeowners at time of resale, thus reduceing the value of it's neighbors property.
( 3 ) Federal mandate as written and employed strip local home owners of rights and protection's afforded by zoning codes.
We as home owners seek the right of prior notification before siteing such facilities.
We also seek compensation if after notification and hearings it is decided or agreed that such a facility is to be cited . Then a change of tax code shall be written to compensate neighboring home owners for loss of home value.
We the undersigned petition that our elected officials and adjoined town and state official's REPRESENT the rights all the citizens involved in this matter
