We request that Legislators draw up new laws to protect workers in all fields from Workplace Mobbing. Every worker has a right to a civil workplace.
Workplace Mobbing is a ganging up by coworkers against one employee in an attempt to drive the person out.
Mobbing symptom number one is slander about the victim. The victim's life and job performance are exploited in such a way to create the illusion that the person is incompetent, an undesirable, dishonest, or crazy, someone that needs to be driven from the workplace or at least watched. With the popularity of online gossip pages and message boards, a photo-shopped image, or a voice-over, could give credibility to the offline smear.
We wish to educate people about this civil rights abuse that punishes innocent workers. We also want to insure that people can stand up for their rights and the rights of others without fear of retaliation and firing. We want legislation passed to bring an end to this abuse.
We wish for civil treatment of all workers. We request that Legislators draw up new laws to protect workers in all fields from Workplace Mobbing.
