Chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) is described as a chronic problem (ongoing) where blood from the brain and spine has trouble getting back to the heart.
It is caused by a narrowing in the veins (stenosis) that drain the brain and the spine. Blood takes longer to return to the heart, and it can reflux back into the brain and spine or cause oedema and leakage of red blood cells and fluids into the tissues of the brain and spine.
Blood that remains in the brain too long creates a delay in deoxyginated blood leaving the head ("slowed perfusion"). This can cause hypoxia, a lack of oxygen in the brain. Plasma and iron from blood deposited in the brain tissue can also be very damaging leading to iron along with other unwelcome cells, to cross the crucial brain-blood barrier.
New data suggests the "Liberation Treatment" or endovascular treatment of strictures in extracranial cerebrospinal veins IS safe in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and WILL provide neurological benefit for these patients.
New research conducted by Dr Zaboni in Italy has shed new light on this nightmare disease, for decades it has been believed that MS is a autoimmune disease but Zamboni has proved that it is actually a vascular disease. Over 500 MS patients have been tested and all have shown deformities in their Jugular veins. No one in the control groups had the deformities.
Doctors in Italy, The US and Poland have carried out procedures on dozens of MS patients, where stents are placed in the Jugular veins to allow the free movement of blood from the brain. Those who have undergone the procedure report miraculous improvement in their condition.

We also call on you, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of America, to work FOR US, use donated money FOR US and to NOT be influenced by pharmaceutical companies and their representatives who stand to lose billions of dollars if MS is cured.
