The current democratic leadership in the Congress and the Senate have allowed billions of taxpayer dollars to go into "pork" projects under the TARP $700billion bailout, to garner votes.
The new economic recovery bill is again loaded with "pork". There is no effective oversight and no accountability with these bills, which have allowed CEO's to take billions in bonuses from taxpayer funds.
It is time for new leadership who will see to it that the American peoples interests are placed first and foremost.
We the undersigned citizens of the United States of America, hereby request the democratic party and the democrats in the House of Representatives and the Senate of the United States to replace all leadership in both bodies with new leadership who will place the interests of all Americans first, ending free access by corporate lobbyists and ending the practice of including pork projects in bills of entirely different purpose.
