IF HER PICTURE WAS SHOWN ON THE NEWS OFTEN AND THERE WAS A SPECIFIC TV CHANNEL FOR THE MISSING. JAYCEE DUGARD MAY HAVE BEEN FOUND SOONER. EYEWITNESS REPORTS CLAIM SHE WAS IN PUBLIC VIEW, WORKING IN HER KIDNAPPERS PRINTING STORE, AND NO ONE SUSPECTED SHE WAS THE 11 YEAR OLD KIDNAPPED IN 1991. IF OUR GOVERNMENT CAN DEMAND THAT WE SWITCH FROM ANALOG TO DIGITAL TELEVISION, WHY IS THERE NO SPECIFIC TV CHANNELS FOR MISSING PEOPLE, LIKE THE WEATHER CHANNELS? THE MEDIA WILL NOW BOOST SALES AND GAIN A PROFIT ON THE RECENT STORY OF JAYCEE DUGARD, BUT WON'T DO A THING TO HELP FIND OUR MISSING FAMILY MEMBERS.

After getting enough signatures, this petition will be forwarded to all the major news media channels to let them know how important it is to have all missing children on the air constantly.
If we do not see any changes, I will ask that we organize for a day to simply refuse to watch any television. We pay for cable and we should have a voice in what we want to watch. If our children were given the same respect as some drunk, pregnant, or arrested celebrities, many of our babies may be home by now.
Enough is enough! Take a stand for our children or we may never hear of someone you know that are missing.
