Background (Preamble):
We the Urban residents of Bangalore are constantly barraged by unwanted intrusive encroachments on footpaths along all roads in Bangalore with parked vehicles, construction work, temporary constructions from Govt Contractors especially street vendors / hawkers.
It severely affects our freedom to walk in the city and well being.
It has enormous, immeasurable cascading deleterious effects on the entire society. We beg for enforcement to protect our pavements / footpaths.

The Extent of Damage:
Bangalore for example most of the pavements / footpath's for almost all roads. these roads have earmarked are for pedestrians to enjoy walking to commute, as a essential right of every pedestrian it is essential for civic bodies to maintain these pavements free from encroachments, other use than walking and enable pedestrians to commute.
The Solution:
1) Kindly Declare an automatic safe passage on all roads where public money has been spend to construct a pavement for all pedestrians to use the pavements to commute.
2) penalize all the encroachers heavily always and the proactively remove the cause if any at all.
3) Make the public partners in a 100 percent enforcement and extend the extent of enforcement by rewarding the complainants from the realized fine amount.
Hoping that some quick action will ensue to preserve our sanity, health and freedom of walking our own city.
