1. Tony Blair be tried for crimes against humanity

There have been thousnds of people who have signed the petition against Tony Blair becoming the first President of the EU.

There is so much anger against this man, accusing him of war crimes and that he has blood on his hands, of taking the UK to a war based on lies. Lies about weapons of mass destruction which proved untrue, consequently innocent men, women and children lost their lives.

Every year on remembrance day we remember the men, women and children who lost their lives in the first and second world wars. Have we not learnt from them?. Maybe if Tony Blair or members of his own family were on the frontline he would not have been so eager. He probably thought he would go down as another Churchill but it has backfired on him. As the ArchBishop of Canterbury said no one thought it through and what the consequences would be.

Once again power was in the hands of the wrong person.

2. No To Blair as President of the European Council

Now that the Irish have voted "Yes" to the Lisbon Treaty in what looks like a convincing vote attention once more turns to the post of President of the European Council and unfortunately Tony Blair seems to be a front runner.

I say unfortunately as not only have we not had a referendum despite Blair saying in the Labour election manifesto in 2005 "We will put it [the constitution] to the British people in a referendum and campaign wholeheartedly for a Yes vote."

But also that this is a man who has not yet properly apologised for taking us into an illegal war based on a ‘pack of lies’ and who is embroiled in the Serious Fraud Office's investigation into alleged bribery surrounding BAE Systems' contracts with Saudi Arabia.

I actually don’t think Blair is a ‘bad’ man I think that his arrogance makes him unsuitable for public office.

3. Ban Blair-Baiting

Bear-baiting, whereby a tethered bear was attacked by a pack of dogs, was outlawed in this country in 1835. It is now time to stop BLAIR-baiting, i.e. attacks on our former Prime Minister by the dogs of anti-war. Less metaphorically it can be defined as the constant incitement of hatred against Tony Blair for taking us to war in Iraq.

This year's Blair-baiting season will reach its peak when the Iraq war inquiry starts to call witnesses. Parts of the media, the anti-Iraq war lobby and some families of soldiers killed in the war are already calling for this to be a TRIAL of Tony Blair with a view to gathering as much evidence as possible to send him to The Hague for "war crimes". Except that unlike a normal trial, Tony Blair has been presumed guilty in advance.

The organisers of this petition do not belong to any one party but are united in our belief in "innocent until proved guilty" and that Mr Blair should be given a fair hearing at the inquiry. To this end we demand that if the Blair-baiters want to turn the inquiry into a trial they should follow the same rules as a trial and not be allowed to make any public comment on the proceedings until they are over.

Please show your support for Tony Blair through this period of "trial" by signing this petition.

[UPDATE] Your signature is all the more important at this time as the Inquiry will be presenting its findings in the autumn which means that the issue will be becoming highly topical again. Go to our campaign website ( linked at the top left of this page) for the latest developments.

4. Tony Blair for president of the EU

There is already a petition against the appointment of Tony Blair as the first Permanent President of the EU, which I have signed. But in the interests of democracy and fairness I would like to see how many people would support his appointment.

If he gets more fors than against - then give him the job! Is that not how democracy should work?

6. Blair must Resign

March 19, 2006

Blair has started behaving like the Queen. He seems to think he's above politics now, and representative of some kind of mystic national destiny.

The longer he is allowed to hang around in this present situation, the weirder he's going to get. He has to go. NOW.

7. Reduce Dental Charges for Pensioners

March 07, 2006

Recently my dentist has decided to rebel against the government's new dental contracts by going private.

Admitedly no dental treatment has been entirely free but was subsidised. Now I will be £120 out of pocket just for 2 inspections and scalings per year and then there will be more charges for any other treatment required.

Surely they could think again as there will be no going back once they have got your money. I think it is unfair as most dentists were trained in this country free of charge before top-up fees came into force and I think they ought to give some of the cost of training back by honouring the national health motto "from cradle to grave" as envisaged by the originators.

Written by a disgruntled pensioner who may not get any dental treatment in the future.

8. Equality For All In Education

Feb 08, 2006

I think that the UK education system which Tony Blair and his MPs run is a discrace!!

9. Get Our Troops Out Of Iraq Now

Tony Blair needs to get british troops out of iraq soon before there are anymore deaths! We don't want to have anymore death over there, especially our loved ones, you know there are soldiers parents, loved ones, husbands etc over here.

Personally i think its ridiculous! GET OUR TROOPS HOME SOON BEFORE MORE DAMAGE HAPPENS!!!

10. Get George Bush & Tony Blair OUT!

In light of the current situation in Iraq, and the way that these so-called "world leaders" have conducted their self with lies and false issues surrounding their campaign of Operation Iraqi Liberation (O.I.L.). With their selfish needs for the Iraqi oil the have lead our military to an unnessecary war, leading to countless deaths of troops and innocent civilians, which in turn will invoke more terrorists all over the world.

Allthough their false intentions seemed nobel at the time, their accusations have failed to materialise. With the death toll rising these people need to be withdrawn from power as like they done with the Iraqi leader. It was clear from the news reports that the Americain leader was not making the decisions and that the British leader was merely mislead into believing the dangers that the Americains portraid.

11. No Increase In University Fees in UK!

The government's plans for the future of higher education in England involves, for full-time undergraduates, likely fees of £3,000 a year.

12. Get rid of Blair

Tony Blair thinks he can drag us into wars we don't want, well he's wrong, sign this petition and show him that we can get rid of him one way or another.

13. Do not go to war with Iraq

I believe that the many terrorist attacks that are being carried out all over the world are very wrong and should be stopped. But if we decide to join George Bush in his unrealistic aims to put an end to this by killing others then that makes us as bad as them. We must stop these attacks, yes, we should not, however, kill innocent persons and increase hatred between nations and races. It could also result in mass destruction in this country, not only killing the innocent people that never wantewd this but also your innocent loved ones and friends. think about it, if the general public don't make their feelings known then we are as guilty as Tony Blair, George Bush and ,yes, Osama Bin Laden in allowing this inevitable mass killing to go ahead!

14. We Need Justice Not Speeches - Tony Blair must ACT NOW.

This petition is to get Tony Blair to start acting on his words. When a 14yr old boy can commit MANSLAUGHTER and ARSON admit in a Crown Court and still walk free because while on CONDITIONAL BAIL he has reformed himself so much, also if he were put in a young offenders institute he would re-offend!!!( so what are the young offenders institutes for?). I think something needs to be done NOW. Like the saying goes ACTIONS SPEEK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

15. Ban Hunting With Dogs

The following petition will be delivered to the Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair to illustrate the strong feeling held by the British Public on the subject of hunting with dogs.

It is important that the Government is reminded that there is a large majority of people supporting the Government's Hunting Bill and that a complete and total ban on hunting with dogs is desired.

Without Government support, this popular and successful Bill will be beaten. We now have a real chance to end this cruelty. Please sign our petition.
