31. Justice for Bailey: Appeal against the lenient sentence given to Nathan William Forrest

Nathan William Forrest was sentenced to 6 years non parole period for the manslaughter of Bailey James Constable. Nathan William Forrest struck Bailey across the head and body while he bathed him on the 1st of April 2011 in his home in Warren N.S.W, the actions Nathan William Forrest chose that night resulted in the death of this 4 year old boy we ask that an appeal be granted for the following reasons:

1: Nathan willingly injected a drug that gave him violent outbursts;
2: Nathan choose to bathe Bailey on the 1st of April 2011 knowing he was under the influence of amphetamines and agitated;
3: Nathan struck Bailey on the head and body more than once and as little as 4 times;
4: Nathan lied to medical professionals hampering resuscitation efforts;
5: Nathan showed no remorse after the fact, he was witnessed using drugs and alcohol while enjoying social events;
6: Nathan lied to police for the 5 weeks preceding Bailey's death hindering closure for family;
7: Nathan winked and smiled when handed the 6 year non parole period sentence he was openly over joyed with such a light sentence, this shows no remorse or potential for rehabilitation in such a short term as remorse for a crime would be where one would start;
8: Bailey was 4 years old not even 20kg when Nathan William Forrest beat him with such force he died from as stated in the autopsy "multiple injuries".

33. Stop the Killing in South Africa

In the past years the murder rate in South Africa has risen sharply and people of all cultures are being murdered on a daily basis, however, there seems to be an increase of white farmers being murdered, and it seems like this is a second Zimbabwe.

The Papers and Internet have ample proof of all these atrocities.

34. We All Are ONE!

Take a stand with us and declare: WE ALL ARE ONE!

When you look at all of the problems facing the world today--environmental exploitation, animal cruelty, hunger, poverty, greed, war--you can see the fundamental problem: a mindset which perceives everything as separate, competing entities.

In the words of noted quantum physicist Dr. Amit Goswami:

"The ultimate disease--the root disease--is the illusory thinking that we are separate from the Whole. To heal the disease is to realize that we are Whole, that the separation is but an illusion."

The goal of this petition is to heal the world's fragmented mentality through promoting an ethical system based on the belief that everything emanates from One, Supremely Good and Beautiful Source, and, therefore, everything is essentially One.

This simple belief provides a logical basis for the pursuit of love, compassion, and respect, healing the world on a fundamental level.

This belief is so universal and so powerful, it is high time it receives its due honor and support.

So, please, take a stand with us and declare: WE ALL ARE ONE!

35. Stop killing our poundies and give us answers - Blacktown Pound

What part of animal re-homing officer dont they get? How is it the first implemented program of the animal rehoming officer to kill 5 out of 7 dogs on the kill list?

The AWL uses that temperament test to help rehabilitate dogs now, 20 years ago they used these temperament tests just to kill dogs. Blacktown pound can NOT ignore rehabilitation and just kill. Nearly 2 years of no kill rate for dogs blown away by the one person who was meant to save them, do we want to stand by and watch while blacktown pound turns into another RSPCA type killing field? NO!

Protest will be held on Monday 18/03/2013 -9:00am
Blacktown Council Chambers, 1 Flushcombe Road Blacktown.

36. Rewrite the new California prison realignment good time credits

Californias New Prison Realignment and Granting Good Time Credits for Time Served. This new policy having to do with only people who have committed a crime or who have been sentenced from the year 2011 to present these people getting 50 percent good time credit for time served. Meaning day served for day credit.

The problem of this is people being sentenced from 2011 on not being punished for crimes they had committed, and being released on their own goodwill disregarding the seriousness of the crime recently committed. And not looking at Prisoners whom have paid at least portions of the debt to society and is unlikley to reoffend.

Believing that California should use the risk factor assessment tool that so many other states have used and have had successful results. This risk factor should be used on all prisoners not including murders or rapists. Prisoners who should be looked at should be first time offenders as an adult, Prisoners who have been imprisoned for more than 5 years, and things that should be taken into consideration is good behavior while being imprisoned etc. This would help determine if a Prisoners likely to reoffend.

37. Stop Syrian detainess from being brutally tortured and raped by Syrian authorities

Syrian detainees are being medievally tortured and raped by Syrian authorities, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) accused.

At least 194,000 citizens, including approximately 9000 teenagers have been detained by Syrian regime forces. 1215 of these people have been killed, the organisation claimed, with a minimum of 60,000 enforced disappearances.

The organisation alleged that a large number of prisoners suffered through 44 different methods of physical as well as psychological torture, which involved victims being tied and beaten as well as forced sexual humiliation.

There are currently 72 detention centres in Syria controlled by the Air Force, the Army, the Intelligence Agency as well as security forces. An SNHR statement read; “We harshly condemn and renounce all methods of torture practiced by the Syrian government, which is held responsible for all Syrian governments’ staff and institutions”.

The SNHR has called upon the international community and the U.N Security Council to act with the utmost urgency and enforce the humanitarian laws and constitutions.

They rape and murder our children, families and friends and we reward them with a jail sentence where they receive nutritional meals, television, medical care, etc. which we pay for.

39. Support a National Children's Day

I'm am so torn apart inside with the death of the 20 children in Newton, Connecticut, I feel we need to honor these children and many more who were killed by guns!

By allowing children to have their own day of recognition 12/14 instead of mourning we need to hear the sound of children's laughter.

We need to spend this day recognizing how important our children are to us by spending this day with them in restaurant toy stores libraries parks theatre we need to make this day a fun fulled day. With so many parent working longer hours there is less time spent with our children.

41. Harsher laws for drinking and driving

There are so many people who get killed by drunk drivers. On November 18, 2012 Larry Schofield was on a tow putting a van onto his truck bed when a drunk driver struck him, killing him, and kept driving. 6 hours after the incident he blew 3 times the legal limit.

Let's get this stopped!

42. Termination of Hillary R. Clinton

On the date of 9-11-2012 a known group called Ansar al-Sharia attacked the United States Consulate in Benghazi Libya resulting in the deaths of four Americans.

The State Department has known for sometime that the Consulate was in harms way, but failed to protect the members of the state department. Even with the knowledge that the above group Ansar al-Sharia that has ties with Al-Qaeda was in the area.

On the date of 9-11-2012,a massing of protestors were outside the consulate, which was innocent in itself, with the protestors not knowing that the group Ansar al-Sharia had other plans. The premeditated attack on the sovereignty of the United States is an act of war,and yet nothing was done and to this date its still under investigation. The NAS in Sicily was less than an hour away. There are QRF (Quick Response Forces) that were less than an hour away. Never in our history have we had a foreign mission attacked and WE DID NOTHING.
Benghazi Time-line

:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (8:30 p.m. Benghazi time): U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens steps outside the consulate to say goodbye to a Turkish diplomat. There are no protesters at this time. (“Everything is calm at 8:30,” a State Department official would later say at an Oct. 9 background briefing for reporters. “There’s nothing unusual. There has been nothing unusual during the day at all outside.”)
3 p.m.: Ambassador Stevens retires to his bedroom for the evening. (See Oct. 9 briefing.)

Approximately 3:40 p.m. A security agent at the Benghazi compound hears “loud noises” coming from the front gate and “gunfire and an explosion.” A senior State Department official at the Oct. 9 briefing says that “the camera on the main gate reveals a large number of people – a large number of men, armed men, flowing into the compound.”

About 4 p.m.: This is the approximate time of attack that was given to reporters at a Sept. 12 State Department background briefing. An administration official identified only as “senior administration official one” provides an official timeline of events at the consulate, but only from the time of the attack — not prior to the attack. The official says, “The compound where our office is in Benghazi began taking fire from unidentified Libyan extremists.” (Six of the next seven entries in this timeline — through 8:30 p.m. EDT — all come from the Sept. 12 briefing. The exception being the 6:07 p.m. entry, which comes from Reuters.)

About 4:15 p.m.: “The attackers gained access to the compound and began firing into the main building, setting it on fire. The Libyan guard force and our mission security personnel responded. At that time, there were three people inside the building: Ambassador Stevens, one of our regional security officers, and Information Management Officer Sean Smith.”

Between 4:15 p.m.-4:45 p.m.: Sean Smith is found dead. About 4:45 p.m.: “U.S. security personnel assigned to the mission annex tried to regain the main building, but that group also took heavy fire and had to return to the mission annex.”

About 5:20 p.m.: “U.S. and Libyan security personnel … regain the main building and they were able to secure it.”
Around 6 p.m.: “The mission annex then came under fire itself at around 6 o’clock in the evening our time, and that continued for about two hours. It was during that time that two additional U.S. personnel were killed and two more were wounded during that ongoing attack.”

6:07 p.m.: The State Department’s Operations Center sends an email to the White House, Pentagon, FBI and other government agencies that said Ansar al-Sharia has claimed credit for the attack on its Facebook and Twitter accounts. (The existence of the email was not disclosed until Reuters reported it on Oct. 24.)
About 8:30 p.m.: “Libyan security forces were able to assist us in regaining control of the situation. At some point in all of this – and frankly, we do not know when – we believe that Ambassador Stevens got out of the building and was taken to a hospital in Benghazi. We do not have any information what his condition was at that time. His body was later returned to U.S. personnel at the Benghazi airport.”

About 10:00 p.m.: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton issues a statement confirming that one State official was killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Her statement, which MSNBC posted at 10:32 p.m., made reference to the anti-Muslim video.

The parents of Iranian student Behnoud Ramezani, who was brutally murdered by Islamic Republic regime agents during the Fire Festival of 2011, have been sentenced to eight months in prison--for the "crime" of openly mourning for their son!! Similarly, his aunt has received a prison sentence of four months for the same "crime."

Behnoud Ramezani, born in 1992 and a second-term student at Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol, was killed on the night of the Iranian Fire Festival (ChaharShanbe Soori’s night) at the hands of the Basij forces in Tehran. His body was eventually delivered to his family two days after his death, under the condition that he be buried outside of Tehran. The two initial forensic reports described the cause of death as “multiple blows to the head by a hard object”. The “final” cause of death, however, was announced as a result of an “explosion of a hand grenade”. Security forces banned any burial ceremonies for Behnoud Ramezani in Tehran. He was finally buried on March 18, in his native village of Gharakhil in the province of Ghaem Shahr.

“Basiji thugs had broken my son’s legs and arms.…
They had crushed one of his testicle. All parts of his body was bruised. My son was beaten to death by Basiji thugs. They had hit him with club and baton. My son was a freshman in Babol University. He was studing Mechanical Engineering there. He had gone home for Nowruz. He was killed in the Narmak Square (22nd Sq.). His friends told me that motorbike riders came and without asking any question, they began to hit all of us. Behnoud was saying why?, and they hit him more than others. The Basiji bastards should say why they hit my son. The Basiji bastards should say why they killed my son. My son was a student of “Exceptional Talent” school. His mother has become mad. She could not accept what has happened. We were Muslim. We were Iranian. But the Basiji thugs killed our son. Their motorbikes had no registered number. The regime should tell us why they allow Basiji thugs to have unregistered motorbikes. Why do they kill Iranians? Why did they kill my son? why? why? “

"We both believed that everything should be based on humanity. Neither of us were particularly religious. In our discussions, we came to the conclusion that we want behave like decent human beings without harming anyone [in our actions]. Whenever we had discussions, we came to the conclusion that in this country we will never be able to do the things we like. There will always be obstacles and problems. There are always people who won’t allow us to live how we like to live. All in all, it is impossible to do anything here. Our thought was to study for four years and then leave the country. Behnoud and I had differing political views. Behnoud was completely against the current ruling government. He always watched the programs on satellite, even though I personally disliked some of these programs. There were times when we had lots of discussions. For example, we would argue every day for two weeks in a row. We would discuss how we should change this corrupt regime. We would talk about how lives would have to be sacrificed. My friend and I would explain that we were not willing to die for this cause. We wondered whether people would stand by us and follow in our path if we paid such a price. What if we paved the way and the people did not follow? Behnoud did not agree with our analysis and would say: “You may be right, but in the end lives have to be sacrificed, there has to be bloodshed…”

"The security atmosphere in Tehran was undoubtedly tense. At around 4:00pm, when we left Iran Pars Square, you could see security agents every step of the way. We later went to Narmak, because that neighborhood has approximately 150 to 200 squares and even if they placed 10 agents at every square they would need to deploy tons of agents. In any event, there were lots of motorcycle-riding security agents watching the neighborhood. We didn’t witness any particular political protests in the square. We had no intention of holding political rallies, not because we were against the idea of protesting, but rather because we saw our Iranian Fire Festival as a night for happiness, celebrations, and festivities.

At around 6:00pm, a number of motorcycle-riding agents filled the square. Those in front were fully equipped Basij’s, followed by special security forces who were covered in gear and also well equipped. We all ran away and about fifteen minutes later, we returned to the square. At around 8:00pm, the security agents once again attacked the square. The 22nd Square was very busy. There were approximately 40-50 of us young men in the square. Later on in the night, when the crowd dispersed and Behnoud and I were standing with a few others in the middle of the square, we noticed that a group of motorcycle-riding agents had entered the main street. They revved their motorcycles and drove towards us causing us to flee. After a few seconds, I turned around and saw a boy with a short beard running away. At first I didn’t think he was a Basij, but then I heard a women at the end of the street shouting: “They have killed someone! The Basij’s have attacked and killed someone!” Initially, I had no idea that it was Behnoud she was talking about. I saw two of the neighborhood boys running after the Basij who had jumped into a White Samand with the license plate “44-Iran-246S61″ and had fled the scene....

"A few of our friends who had witnessed what happened, explained that they first hit Behnoud from afar with an electric shocker (I must say that I am sure of this fact) and later Behnoud slipped. When I went to stand above him, I saw that Behnoud’s body and face were black and bruised. He had not even shed a drop of blood...

" I saw Behnoud’s body. Later the forensic experts confirmed the details in their report. The bone in his right thigh was crushed. One of his testes had exploded. His right or left hand was broken. His neck was broken, but an injury to the spinal cord does not lead to death. The cause of his death was the heavy blows to his head. It is unclear what caused the head trauma that led to the rupturing of an artery in his brain and cerebral hemorrhaging. He was taken to the Alghadir hospital by ambulance where he was declared dead."

44. Bring back capital punishment for all pedophiles and child murderers...

After whats just happened to a defenceless 5 year old girl reminds us of the sick world were living in, a society where children aren't safe.

It's a parents worst nightmare and as a parent i can't bare to think about it. How can it ever be any different if laws aren't changed.

Whats the worst that faces the sick evil paedos and child murderers. Free accommodation? Hot meals? Free education? Free gym passes?

Yes, all of the above. What do they lose? Nothing! Whilst parents' lives change forever.

45. Change US gun laws so that they protect the people

United States firearm laws need to be changed as they no longer protect the people. There are over 40,000 firearm related incidences every year in the US, 23% of which are intentional homocides.

Going on a per 100,000 inhabitants:
America has 3.0 intentional homocides ever year; compared to
UK (0.073)
Germany (0.2)
Australia (0.1)

How many more innocent people need to be killed before the US government realises something needs to change?

Yes, I'm aware the guns don't kill people, people kill people but guns make it easier for people to kill people which is what they are doing.

If people who actually needed firearms had them and were licensed to have them then America would be a whole lot safer then it currently is.

But No, ANYONE can go and buy a gun "for their own protection" from what? other people with guns? Can you see where i'm going? Not everyone needs a gun which would mean not everyone would need a gun to protect themselves.

The Law as it stands is now working against itself and doing the complete opposite of what it was designed to do.

Every 1 in 1.5 Americans possess a firearm, surely not everyone of those people is in the right frame of mind to hold such weapons.

Less guns = less massacres, less homocides, safer America.

Sign this petition to let your voice be heard.

46. Stop Media Violence

An epidemiological study was conducted by the American Medical Association to finalize whether the media is indeed responsible for societal violence.

Research compared the happenings of surrounding nations with television, to that of nations without. All observed areas were both demographically and ethnically identical, having the television alone as a variable. The findings were astounding. Every examined region, in which media had been introduced, had a drastic upswing in the rate of violence with children. Within fifteen years the murder rate had doubled.

The span of time can be explained simply in that it was the duration needed for the exposed three to five year olds to reach the 'prime crime age'. One example supporting these findings occurred in a small Canadian town in the year of 1973. At this time the town had just been introduced to media influence. Shortly after, there was an incredible 160 percent increase in aggression among the first and second graders of the area. Yet another example is the outstanding increase in the imprisonment rate, which has quadrupled since 1975, a year in which media violence had become more prevelant.

Presently, in the United States, there are about two million teens who have possession of a deadly weapon, approximately 135,000 carry them to school. Many believe this is due to overexposure to violence in the media. On average, media viewers encounter an act of serious violence such as: rape, kidnapping, murder, or assault once every four minutes.

The problem we face is the possibility of when viewing these horrendous acts consistently, youth will be more inclined to mimic these actions publicly. One such example is the infamous movie, Natural Born Killers (a Warner Brother production) that has been found to be responsible for more than a dozen murder cases, such as the following. In the year of 1994, a fourteen-year-old boy, who was accused of decapitating his younger sister, claimed he only had wished to be like the Natural Born Killers. Yet another teen, who had become obsessed with the movie, shaved his head and wore tinted green granny glasses (like Mickey the main character) before murdering his stepmother and half-sister.

The American Medical Association has concluded that since television was founded in the 1950's, the media has been a casual factor behind 10,000 homicides, 70,000 rapes, and 700,000 assaults annually. There is no excuse for this individually or nationally, and it must be brought to an end.

As Americans of this proud nation we cannot ignore these issues with a complacent attitude. Rather, we must make it a priority to renew national morality by petitioning the industry itself.

47. Deny Parole of a Murderer -- Christopher Lee Hutchens

Texas Department of Criminal Justice
Pardons and Paroles Division
P.O. Box 13401
Austin, TX 78711-3401

In 2007, Christopher Lee Hutchens -- TDCJ no. 00480349 was reviewed for possible parole for the first time. After reviewing his files, the parole review board voted to extend his case until next review in 5 years. Now in 2012, we are once again faced with the possibility of his release. I am Inez [Botello] Crowley. Rita Isabelle Botello was my only sister and sibling. I am writing you today and this petition on behalf of my family, relatives, friends, co-workers and concerned citizens in hopes that you will once again find it in everyone’s best interest to keep Christopher Hutchens incarcerated.

On June 17, 1987, Rita Isabelle Botello was stabbed 48 times by Christopher Lee Hutchens after refusing to have sex with him. A loving mother of a [then] 1 year old child and a devoted regular attendant of the Christian Church of Austin, she fought hard to survive, but was left to die in an under-developed subdivision alone and scared. She had just turned 22 years old and was celebrating her birthday with friends when she “allegedly” and innocently offered Christopher a ride home because he had no car. Her car is where he committed this heinous act and left her like discarded trash.

Rita was 2 courses shy of completing her Bachelor’s Degree at UT Austin and was an upstanding member of her community. In a statement given to police, Christopher Hutchens stated that “[he] got angry because she kept saying, NO!” and that he was “high on cocaine.” He stabbed her in the throat 2 times to “shut the b___h up” and then

“went crazy” stabbing her another 46 times. At sentencing, he told the press that he believed his sentence was “...fair, because I will get out and do it again!”

In 2008, I had a chance to converse with Christopher Hutchens. I do not believe that he has repented his sins. In a statement made to me, he claimed that “…[his] only mistake was going back up to the bar and the bartender recognized [him].” He stated that when he stole the car and got arrested in Travis county, he figured they were looking for him for the murder of my sister so he just confessed. I asked him to tell me about my sister’s last night, but he would only say…”it’s not something that you want to hear, I can’t remember most of it because I was high and it won’t bring your sister back.”

It is my opinion that if Christopher Hutchens were to be released, he would attempt to contact my parents who have lived in the same house since 1978. We do not wish to have a constant reminder of the pain he caused us. While I have forgiven his action, I do not believe that he is, will or can ever be an asset to our society. He has proven that he is a repeat offender and without any family to speak of, his release would have to be to a halfway house with medical facilities, since he has advised me of his serious medical condition which needs constant monitoring.

Please help us keep Christopher Lee Hutchens incarcerated for LIFE. Help us make sure that he cannot do this to another family again. With his arrest for murder, he has been arrested approximately 15 times on charges ranging from theft to murder, and has been incarcerated in the state penitentiary at least 3 times. Christopher Lee Hutchens is a career criminal with no regard for life and no intentions of reform. Thank you for your assistance and support!!

48. Free Syrian Red Crescent Medic Mohamad Nour Audi

Dr. Mohamad Nour Audi, a Syrian Red Crescent medic, was arrested by Assad's security forces on March 24, 2012. Since then he has been held in detention at a secret facility. Thus, he is at grave risk of torture and other mistreatment.

As a result of this and other hostile acts taken in Syria by the Assad regime, The Syrian Arab Red Crescent has decided to suspend its activities in various parts of the country, affirming that it has not received protection from the Syrian government which instead is obligated to allow it to carry out all of its interventions in safety.

The Syrian Red Crescent have been accused by Assad's forces of being “untrustworthy” and their crucial work has been undermined, as they have been deemed by the concerned authorities as not being “neutral”. In addition to this, several of their volunteers have lost their lives.

49. Protect our Children

I was a sexually abused child. I have lived my entire life so far with a dire need to make others aware of how prevelant and silent this crime is. Being born in an Indian family who were unaware of my rights as a child was very disappointing, and stole all of my self worth and self esteem.

My aim is to make the problems of being an Indian girl child more known so people and families can unite and do our best to prevent this abhorrent reality.
For all the readers, this book goes into the details of some cases and also my own sexual abuse flashbacks and stories. Thank you for your support.

50. Boycott China Until Murderers Are Held Accountable

On Monday, a picture became circulated of a helpless infant dieing in water in a red bucket in a HOSPITAL in China. After the Chinese Birth Control Office injected poison into the pregnant woman to make her deliver the baby dead, it actually came out alive and started to cry.

The people responsible ripped the baby from its mother and threw it in a bucket, with water in it, to die. This is not going away and harm will come upon our world for this kind of atrocity continuing. Shame on the Chinese government for allowing this, and anyone else who condones this criminal, terrorist activity upon helpless infants.

I ask, and hold and hear by that those involved need to be held responsible, and put in a courtroom where they will be judged for their crimes by the great citizens of the common world. Thank you. Justice and the common man's concern for human life will prevail!

51. Boycott Florida - Repeal Stand Your Ground Law

Florida's so-called Stand Your Ground law has become a license to kill. It makes Florida an unsafe destination for tourists, who can be gunned down in cold blood, without consequence.

The recent case of Trayvon Martin shows how this law promotes senseless and possibly racially motivated killings. Tourists should boycott Florida until this law is repealed.

52. URGENT - Coroners Laws - we the bereaved deserve justice

Families of Sudden / Tragic deaths are being failed by inadequate investigations! Lack of forensics, DNA, Toxicology, Photographic evidence, wounds, bruises samples etc. Police records missing, witnesses misled & manipulation by the Police Forces which are key evidence, fact!

The rights of the bereaved not being given yet this is required by Law. Along with Coroners intimidation & the I.P.C.C lack of independent monitoring, ( over 100 honest lawyers walked out because of their corruption, lies & non impartiality ).

The police failure creates a domino effect in these Sudden death investigations which then snowballs to the pathologist, coroner and returns to the I.P.C.C. as a complaint. The perverse power to protect their own is unbelievable / unforgivable.

Bereaved families should not be subject to this abuse / lack of duty of care by HM departments! The only crime that they have committed is to lose their loved one!

53. Stop Rhino Poaching

Rhino poaching in South Africa is a very serious issue, as of the 3rd of November 2011 341 rhinos have been killed so far this year outstripping last year’s total of 333 and it’s not even the end of the year.

Rhino poachers in SA are even targeting dehorned rhinos for two reasons, firstly there is still a substantial piece of horn below the surface of the skin and secondly by killing the rhino it increases the price of rhino horn as it becomes a more valuable commodity. It is for this second reason that many poachers are also killing baby rhinos which have little or no horn at all. Fewer rhinos equals more money per kilogram of rhino horn.

Rhino horn is widely used in Chinese culture as it is believed it can cure a wide variety of ailments varying from boils to cancer and even devil possession. It has no medicinal value it is compressed hair or kerratin the same as you would find in your finger nails.

In middle east culture rhino horn is a status symbol if you have one as a sheath for your dagger. Needless to say many other materials could be used.

Your signature is massively appreciated.

54. Stop Denmark's Blood Shame !

Every year the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins in Faroe Island in Denmark are slaughtered and the main participants are young teens.

A celebration, to show that they are adults and mature! In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun. Everyone is participating in one way or the other, killing or looking at the cruelty supporting like a spectator.

Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin Calderon, like all the other species of dolphins, it's near extinction and they get near men to play and interact in a way of PURE friendship.

The dolphins don't die instantly; they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks. And at that time the dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child. But he suffers and there's no compassion while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood!

55. Mandatory Death Penalty on any severe violent crime

I believe that to more effectively prevent violent crimes in the United States there should be a mandatory death penalty on any severe violent crime, such as murder, rape, child molestation, attempted murder and armed robbery.

I believe that this would not only solve our overcrowded jails, but also severely deter violent crime.

The approach to the issue of Sexual Harassment has always been a casual one. Every woman in Mumbai, be it a mother, a sister or our friend has been groped or touched inappropriately at some point in time. So much so, that they are now silently bearing this humiliation as a fact of life. It is the 'Pink elephant' in the room that no one wants to talk about.

What happened in Amboli with Keenan and Reuben is known to us. The act was brutal and the perpetrators should be booked, punished and the proceeding should be established but the root cause of what happened that night and the issue they stood up for was eve teasing. Hence this campaign ZERO TOLERANCE, which is a campaign for zero tolerance to Sexual Harassment.

It is not just the casual approach. There is also a stigma attached to the entire issue, which prevents vulnerable victims from standing up and complaining. What makes matter worst is that Section 354 and 509 of IPC, are toothless provisions which have completely failed to tackle the issue.

As a campaign we have three major goals:

1. Spread awareness especially amongst the youth, that Sexual Harassment is just not acceptable and we need to be ZERO TOLERANT, be it victims or onlooker (An onlooker can also complain and not just the victim).

2. Empower women through imparting information about their rights and the existing laws to book the culprit and combat the menace. (E.g. What exactly a girl do if she is touched in appropriately at public).

3. Petition Shri. RR Patil through a signature campaign both online and offline. To strengthen sections 354 and 509, make them non bail-able, a move that is under consideration by the government but has not been implemented.

4. Take legal recourse, by filing a PIL in the high court asking for clear directions that the present mechanism is insufficient to tackle the menace of Sexual Harassment and stronger law is needed in addition to robust procedure, which genuinely empower women.

So join this campaign for the women in all our lives be it then our mothers, our sister, wives, daughter, friends or we ourselves!

57. Life means life

Life should mean life when given as a prison sentence. Every day we read about murderers and rapists being given a life sentence and before we know it they are free. We need a more substantial deterrent in the UK.

People who commit such dreadful crimes, know in the worst case they will be free in 10 years. We want change. A life sentence must mean just that, whole of life.

58. President B. Assad should be brought to Justice

In the past few months Bashar Al Assad, the president of Syria, has used his country’s military against his own citizens. Furthermore, he has ordered for a mass execution of those who have been rebelling against his dictatorship.

Syria is not the only country that is being pressurized for the reforms and changes in its governing practices. Some other conflicts occurring in the same region include Hosni Mubarak’s removal from Egypt, as well as the rebellious activities, in Libya, Bahrain, and Yemen, following this event. Libya, currently under pressure through NATO attacks and other sanctions, imposed on the Gaddafi regime to stop innocent killings and brutality.

In Syria the current ruling government is Shia Islam whereas the majority of the people are from Sunni Islam. Assad has kept the country under a state of emergency since 1963, suspending the constitution and overruling many human rights. Broadcasting, foreign media and other sources of communication are being strictly monitored in order to prevent rebel activity. Assad has murdered thousands of protestors and there is little known information concerning the numbers still suffering from his brutality.

Syria’s ruling Shia government claims to have an Islamic constitution and leadership. According to any Shia law, mostly followed through the first Imam (leadership position in Shia Islam), and the preaching’s of Holy Prophet Muhammad (the prophet of Islam and the last messenger of God), killing an unarmed civilian is against the law and is strictly condemned by previous Imams. Not only condemned but many examples have been left behind by them as to how they dealt with revolts and rebellions without killing any innocent civilian.

Assad’s acts have not condemned by any religious cleric nor has any fatwa (a legal pronouncement in Islam, issued by a religious law specialist on a specific issue) been passed by the supreme leaders of Shia Islam. A list of previous fatwas passed by religious clerics can be viewed at the following link One example listed here is that of the famous fatwa to kill Salman Rushdie due to blasphemy against the prophet of Islam. Someone who has not been ruling according the proper laws of Islam, although he may claim to be doing so, is a blasphemy against the teachings of prophet of Islam and a misrepresentation of the religion.

The killing of protestors in Bahrain has been recognized by many Shia leaders and clerics, since the majority population of Bahrain is Shia Muslims ruled by a Sunni Government, but in contrast to Syria the ruling government is Shia Muslim in a Sunni dominating population. In taking a broader look at these countries current governmental situations, it is not religion that rules, but rather dominating and power-hungry dictators.

On a positive note, unlike Syria, Bahrain’s situation is under control and the media was given permission to carry out independent news reporting. In Syria it has been more than a few months and thousands have been executed without any valid reason, except for the sole purpose of protecting the ruling government.

It is mentioned in the Holy Quran (the holy book in Islam claimed to be God’s word) that killing any innocent person is equal to killing the whole of mankind. (5:32): “For that cause we decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and who so saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! Many of them became prodigals in the earth.”

59. Kamau Wanjiru - Arrest Killers before burial

It's apparently very clear that Sammy Kamau Wanjiru was killed in an unexplained circumstances, the Chief government pathologist has said he was hit by a blunt object which is attributed to his death and not the fall as claimed by the police.

The last people to see him alive have all given contradictory statements and the Police have been accused of not investigating the case. The mother has claimed his son was murdered but curiously, the burial organising committee seems very keen to go ahead with the burial before a full investigation is undertaken.

60. Stop the South African Genocide and Rapes

Extreme violence and secret genocide is being committed against the white minority of South Africa. Tens of thousands of whites have been murdered since 1994. Brutal torture and rape is common and not even the young or elderly are spared.

Quotes: "Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer" - Peter Mokaba (ANC). (The same Peter Mokaba who denied aids)
"When Mandela dies we will kill you whites like flies" - Mzukizi Gaba (ANC).
"We the members of MK have pledged ourselves to kill them, the whites" - Nelson Mandela.
