1. Nominate JACK SCOTT for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum

Our Jack Scott RockHall Facebook Page has reached 5,000 "friends" AND we need to keep this flow of support reaching the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame uninterrupted and in its entirety.

So why JACK SCOTT? Well, let us tell you...
Jack Scott (born Giovanni Domenico Scafone, Jr., January 24, 1936, Windsor, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian American singer and songwriter who spent his formative years in Detroit.
JACK SCOTT was the first white rock and roll star to come out of Detroit, Michigan. JACK SCOTT was inducted into Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2011 and has been called "undeniably the greatest Canadian rock and roll singer of all time."
JACK SCOTT has also been inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame AND the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
Recently JACK was nominated for the Hit Parade Hall of Fame.
JACK SCOTT had 19 US singles in a short period of time, 41 months AND wrote all of his own hits except one: "Burning Bridges." which was written by Walter Scott (no relation).

We the people who sign this petition want to nominate JACK SCOTT for induction into your Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

JACK SCOTT's legacy ranks him with the top legends of rock and roll. Besides Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley, it has been said that no white rock and roller of his generation has ever developed a finer voice than Jack Scott, singing and recording Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, Country-Soul, Gospel and Blues.

In 2015 JACK SCOTT released "Way To Survive" his first studio album in over 50 years which has made many JACK SCOTT fans very happy. JACK SCOTT turned 80 this year and he is actively singing and touring today with a voice and energy that still ROCKS and makes you think when you see him on stage, there is no way that guy is 80.

PLEASE - lets get JACK SCOTT nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Let's get him inducted while Jack and his family can enjoy seeing him hit that stage and receive his award in person.

If you are a fan, a friend, or an admirer, PLEASE spread the word and lets get this done for our "The Way I Walk" JACK SCOTT! (thank you)

2. Hank Williams Jr for President!

Randall Hank Williams (born May 26, 1949), better known as Hank Williams, Jr., is an award-winning American country singer-songwriter and musician.

Williams has been politically involved with the Republican Party. On October 13, 2008, at a rally in Virginia Beach for Republican Presidential nominee John McCain, he performed "McCain-Palin Tradition", a song in support of McCain and his Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

On November 17, 2008, Williams announced that he will run for the U.S. Senate in 2012 as a Republican party candidate, challenging incumbent Republican Senator Bob Corker. Williams was reported to have already consulted with Senator Lamar Alexander and former Senator Bill Frist, both Republicans from Tennessee. Bocephus for President in 2012!!!

3. Reinstate Hank Williams

This petition calls for the reinstatement of Opry legend, and country music star, Hank Williams. Fifty years have passed since the tragic and untimely death of country music's greatest performer, who made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on June 11th, 1949.

A few years later, in 1952, Hiram Hank Williams was asked to leave the Opry -- with the intention that he would sober up and make a return to the stage that he loved so much. Before he could make that return, he passed on, in the back seat of a car on the way to an Ohio show. Even now, Hank Williams has yet to be reinstated to the Opry.

Hank Williams has been one of the most influential artists to ever record; changing the face of music, and the way that we view country music. Since his passing in 1953, he has posthumously achieved numerous rewards and achievements. In 1961, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and a few years later, he was added to the Country Music Hall of Fame Walkway of Stars.

In 1973, he was the recipient of the Pioneer Award by the Academy of Country Music. He received a Grammy for 'Your Cheatin' Heart' in 1983, and was then inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. That same year he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Life Magazine even ranked Hank Williams #1 on the 'Most Important People in Country Music' list. Within his short years with us on earth, he had 11 #1 singles, including 'Lovesick Blues,' 'Kaw-Liga,' as well as 25 other Top 10 Singles.

We, the undersigned, feel that it is past due for Hank Williams' reinstatement to the Grand Ole Opry. Hank Williams was one of the most influential people to ever record or write music, and his untimely death made it impossible for his to 'redeem' himself in the Opry's eyes, but after 50 years we feel that his legacy has more than made up for any objections that the Opry may have had about his personal life. His lyrics and music helped create everything traditional country music became.

The fans of Hank Williams, Sr.
