Hence they are in a position to exploit the Trainee.
Because senior doctors are almost always involved in doing directly, or passing on the exploitation from their own seniors or hospital authorities; senior doctors or hospital authorities cannot be entrusted with ensuring justice for juniors.

An objective and clear system must be established to ensure resident doctors work according to labour laws and not as slaves.
The registration of abuse complaints must first go to government; and then be directed to concerned hospital to prevent hospitals from hindering justice.
Abuse of resident doctors must be treated as grevious offence.
Training lisence of hospital must be promptly cancelled if repeated abuse is noted. Also, victims must be compensated monetarily.
An AllIndia platfom can be made on Internet where residents can post their complaints. Many issues can be thus solved before they grow much. Only fear of punishment can help

AIIMS New Delhi and other medical colleges in Delhi are worse...where even nursing students and MBBS undergraduates are not spared.......And sorry you cannot fight the system ....because even armymen which includes army doctors and men in plain uniform are employed by authorities at such places to maintain discipline... I saw one of my female colleagues(doing MCh at the premier institution) being ordered to ..?????(cannot be mentioned on social media) on a male patient .that came for a testicular implant....that too at AIIMS NEW DELHI...I initially thought it to be an important step of operative procedure.. but slowly and gradually I realised It is a way by which administration and faculty maintain their hegemony over their juniors...It's akin to HAZING...
