At present were seven residents - including one woman - killed and about 100 wounded. Since February 2012 are, more than 3,000 Iranian dissidents, including about 1,000 women in Camp Liberty in Baghdad, waiting for the recognition of their refugee status under international law.
Munich Association for Freedom in Iran condemns these cowardly and horrific acts in the strongest terms. We are deeply concerned and would like to point out that the Iraqi government is responsible for the life of these people. We believe that the safety of these people is no longer in "Camp Liberty" guaranteed and we call on the UN Secretary General, the High Commissioner for Refugees, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the residents of Camp Liberty grant refugee status, they immediately place it in a safe place, and to provide for their safety and welfare.
