After 10 years i have paid over 7000 $ but interest keeps me from ever paying it off..so i have had no choice but to drive illegally in the past. My original fines were 5000. I have paid 7000 and still have 2000 more to pay. At this point it is cheaper to buy an illegal social securiy number than to give more money to nj.thats sad...i never had a major accident,dui,dwi...now i have driving while suspendeds. It is impossible to live..i need a recourse

Putting myself at risk by having to walk 2.5 miles to catch a bus and pass through known drug dealing areas puts me at high risk for robbery and people have been shot in those areas. People need to be able to go to work, its bad enough being able to afford the fines, the extra insurance but being at risk to lose you employment benefits no one. Being able to make medical appointments is also important and right now impossible. The laws need to be more fair.

Not getting to work is equivalent of ruining my credit by forclosing on my mortgage and putting me on the wellfare system from a 90K/year job loss.
