I work a set schedule full-time and make $10 an hour. Even with my set schedule I have been unable to find part time work that would work within my limits to make extra money to support my girls. As it stands, my ex-husband owes me over $20,000.00 in back support and has not made a payment in three months. Thanks to our system here, he has just now been sent notification of intent to suspend his license. Which will not hurt him considering he's living in FL, operating on a LA license and the suspension would only be for his FL license. It has been less than a year since his support order was put into effect and he has quit job after job after job each time child support catches up to him. Enough is enough.

It's so sad especially when they remarry and help raise their step children but are neglecting their responsibilities for raising their own children. Children need the support from both parents and the non custodial parents should be held responsible for providing it. It's sad when a non-custodial parent goes to court to lower their child support and the court system doesn't require to make any payment for the child support that is owed. How could you any have $15.00 added to your child support payment when you owe over $10,000.00. It's even sadder when they still don't pay what they should in child support and the arrears just keep adding up. Many times they move out of state and besides not paying they're not even spending time with their children. Custodial parents have a hard time raising their children without the burden of financial support.It is the children that they're hurting especially since many times the children are raised in poverty. All children deserve to live the best life possible and they need the support from both parent. Need stiffer penalties for non payment of child support

Laws need to change on parents that don't go by court orders. Most of all parents that send their children states away yet continue to collect government benefits & child support need to be punished. Parents that are on drugs and just give their children to strangers need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent, especially when they don't notify the other parent or one of the family members from the other side of the family. Parents that are to sorry to get off their butts and take care of their children not only financially but physically and mentally need to be kicked off government benefits and the other parent should have a right to be given the child/children. Too many dead beat parents are getting by with to much & they need to be punished.

I find it disgusting how the Non - custodial parent can behave in a court room, with constant lies and excuses without any proof provided, and time and time again be given more chances to keep his license, while my poor daughter needs important necessary dental work, and other health and everyday needs. Yet for over a yr now with the same battle on going he walks into court again not having to prove his last mouthful of lies, only to be given another chance. Please tell me where is the justice for all these children whose needs have fallen by the judicial systems waste side?????!
