Without doubt I will sell up, take the loss on the mortgage and start again as far away from here as possible. If this incinerator gets the green light it will have so many negative concequences on the local area. This is for the sake of my childrens health that I sign this petition.

Excess traffic , pollution and what happens if things go wrong with the plant.Despite reassurances , I wonder how many of the local authority making the decicisions live close to the site. These are emotive issues. Incineation and its bi products must have some impact on health. I also presume that the current infrastructure is suitable. Living in Harlington, I have no literature outling all this, from either the Council or the Company.

I am not against reduction of landfill but dont believe that this is a suitable site in a valley which has long periods of high pressure to keep the emissions trapped in the valley. The valley has been landscaped and is gree with grass and trees....why not use a brownfield site which is in need of repair.
