The use of plastic has reached epidemic proportions and we can't stop. This is because supermarkets would rather pander to an obsession rather than risk losing a customer. When I go to the supermarket now all I see is sheer madness. Can't we even eat a banana without putting it in a little disposable (free) plastic bag which is just going to be thrown into a landfill site or worse? :|
