Patients on MH inpatient wards do not receive proper physical healthcare. They do not receive repeat prescription meds. Abnormal investigations are not reported to the GP in discharge summaries.

Patients are not present at Reviews, MDT meetings etc and have no say with regard to what will happen to them. They are not involved in the formulation of their care plan and do not receive a copy. If they obtain copies of their medical notes they find that care plans are in no way individualised and nurses have merely printed off a pro forma care plan.

Psychiatrists, MH nurses and CMHT staff are so dishonest and often malicious that all conversations with or about the patient should be tape-recorded.
