The people who are caught pay their debt back to society and after they do that they don't ever get the opportunity at rightful employment. He was prosecuted and served his time. He is currently $40,000.00+ behind in child support. Because of his criminal record he can not get a good job and help support our two children and his newest child with his current wife. That leaves me to do it alone. Since his release he has not committed any crimes. He has tried to change his life around but with today's society it makes it hard for people like him, who really want to do better, to make a living.

However it defies logic that people who have served their time and now off probation cannot find employment. Common sense would suggest that if even the best intentioned person cannot find empployment they will eventually turn to something illegal again. 'Then you'll say I told you so!' If the same people unforgiving of felons wants forgiveness from God then mercy and forgiveness should be the rule of law. Anything else is inhumane.

I shuffle from temp job to temp job. How does this affect the economy with no means to buy a home, or pay back student loans, etc. when we cannot move forward?

Google and other search engines that disseminate criminal records and old articles are making it much worse.
