I literally told them 8 times in 3 days I was not Mark Holman. After getting 60 calls in 3 weeks time I called them up & got a Supervisor by the name of Nicole Hernandez, who told me "Oh well" when I told her to stop because it's the wrong number. Filing numerous complaints with the FTC to no avail.

My pay has been reduced and I no longer have the income that I had when I made the charges. I was trying to make payments as I could. But the harrassing phone calls to my job which I work in a cubicle - so I did not pick up. I am not going to subject myself to this treatment. I have had this card since 1989 and have always paid my debut. Now I got a letter saying they are turning this over to collections. They have runined my credit, raise the minimum payment to over $1000 and thing that I can pay in full. How is this going to get them the money that I don't have. They are even going to try and take my income tax money. As long as I am making payments how can they do all this????

I may not be the right person for your petition since we havent paid Discover and we are in a lawsuit as we speak. Discover is sueing us. I was put on Discover's "hardship program" in 2009 for 6 months.
When the six months was up , I called to re-apply and get another six months. I was told that I could not do that since I had already been on a hardship program once and they couldnt do anything else to help me. My husband and I lost our home,cars, retirement plan etc to pay our bills and try to live and get out of our financial hole. We couldnt pay discovers minium payments and they wouldnt work with us anymore so we couldnt pay them anything. We where negative money in the bank. Discover sent a letter that said if we paid $10,000 in 2 $5000 payments then they would settle. We didnt even have a dollar much less $5000. Discover never worked with us again after that after we couldnt pay them anymore, they would call us all hours of the day and they even started calling my mother in law to harass her on our debt. They would also leave her voicemails. It was emabarressing! My mother in law has nothing to do with our debt. How did they even get her info?
