Risca end of Rogerstone is gridlocked at peak times now as traffic enters the main roads from existing estates.
Permission wasn't granted for a resident to add an extra house in the garden for their son. The reason being there was too much traffic on the roads already. Soon afterwards there was an estate built on the ground of that property.
Revenue can be made by turning the site into needed allotments for the local community.

The road infrasturuture in & out of Rogerstone is already struggling. We need our green land for all the environmental reasons you should be aware of.
Surely money would be better spent regenerating vacant properties than building yet more new ones we don't need.
Rogerstone doesn't want or need to be built up like a city; it's why we live here! Leave it alone!
