The local 4-H club use that arena to practice and many other locals use it as well. The safety of the footing is a big concern and I believe if the city is going to provide teh facility, they need to ensure it is safe for the public to use.

The age of the kids range from 8 to 18. In the past 3 years since there has been a club in Lake Point we have had 3 serious accident where for some reason the kids have fallen off their horses, 2 of those accidents the kids had to be taken to the hospital. I believe that if we would have had sand in the arena those 2 kids would not have had to go to the hospital. Lets protect our children and provide for their safety.
