The female admitted in court that she lied to him about her age and he was still convicted. He had an assessment done by a Social Service’s physiologist and was CLEARED but to around my children in 2004. Now in 2014 he is being told that he can have NO contact with his own children due the their ages. He did his time, he was not put on Megan's Law but now they are telling him that after all these years he is now being put on the Adam Walsh Act. It is a clear VIOLATION of his 5th Amendment (Double Jeopardy)... It is wrong for the government to abuse our rights as Americans. I do not believe in sex crimes but I also don't believe in our rights being violated either.

Would you not feel that you were being punished by having your information listed on such a site? Would you not feel punished if after fighting for and agreeing to a specified length of time to be listed on that site, only to have that negated by a law passed after you had agreed to that plee? Megans law is social jail. A sentence to be listed on that sight is a sentence to be punished publicly rather than confined for a time. It is unconstitutional to extend that time after an agreement has already been made.

I had an addiction to pornography and in 2003 was looking at underage girls on the internet. In early 2004 the company that i had purchased the child porn off of was raided by the feds and they got my name. In february 2004 the postal inspectors posed as the business and i accepted a parcel containing 3 videos. They came to my house and found no other child porn. It wasnt until January 2008 that i was prosecuted. The federal goverment declined to prosecute me and turn it over to the commonwealth. I filed no motions to supress anything and planned on pleading guilty. They gave me 5 years probation and 10 years on megans law. Now they left me go for almost 4 years prior so you can imagine when i got that letter the week of the 20th december 2012 telling I had another 5 years added to megans law. This is outragous I never had a chance to hit a courtroom to contest it. i have served my time and paid a heavy price for it. They say it is because it is 'civil' but i can tell you that the penalties for not registering are not 'civil' as they are very severe. more severe than killing a person!! crazy....

These laws were passed out of emotion and not logic .. they are nothing but vindictive and punitive in nature .. passed to punish not protect .. They violate 5 different articles of the constitution .. The motivation to pass such Laws was millions of Federal dollars ,, dont look now but our rights under the Constitution are up for sale people .. remember these politicians when we go to the voting booths ....
