However, I am strongly opposed to the 32 unit multi-family portion of the plan. It is entirely out of context with the character of the neighborhood. Does this proposal even meet code? Finally, there has been absolutely no consideration given to the improvement of Hillside St, sidewalks, sewers, etc.

This is just not right. Example: The developer actually loses value by having one of his street become a through street and shortcut. So, it wasn't in HIS best interest in proposing it. As a teacher at the middle school who uses this street to access the school I see often see students, who walk and ride their bikes to school, come close to getting hit by the cars driving well beyond the speed limit. The town needs to seriously consider adding sidewalks to Hillside.

No one wants to see all those new houses where there once used to be trees.
